The Asthma Foundation
The Asthma Foundation is New Zealand’s not-for-profit agency for asthma and other respiratory illnesses. They provide advocacy services, education on asthma management and other respiratory illnesses, fund research and provide free resources online.
The Asthma Foundation also supports 18 affiliated regional asthma societies to provide education, support and advice. Regional asthma societies and their branches offer one-on-one education and support for free or at little cost.

The Paediatric Society
The Paediatric Society, and it’s members, aims to promote the scientific study of child health and paediatrics, and at times, engage in activities in the interests of child health in New Zealand.

BPAC (Best Practice Advocacy Centre)
BPAC is an independent organisation that promotes healthcare interventions based on best practice evidence. They also develop and distribute evidence based resources which describe, facilitate and help overcome the barriers to best practice.
